        It was indeed a Black Sunday today in Warri, Delta state following an Accident which occurred few hours ago along Warri/Sapele Road by Mountain Of Fire Camp Ground. According to eye witness, a Speeding black Jeep flew from the other side of the road and crashed into a Jeta vehicle killing all passengers on the spot including Youth Corp Members.         This is really sad! The big brother naija housemates warmly welcome Nigeria Super star actress Omotola Jalade Ekeyinde to the house this morning. The ever gorgeous star actress gave them all a surprise gift of Tee shrits with the inscription "ONE" and educated them on her movement "ONE" for women especially the first born girl child. According to her the movement was inspired from her own real life story, she shared her story growing up as a child with no father and losing her mum early made her automatically take up the role as a mum for her kid brothers at a young age. She concluded with advising the girls to marry a man who understands their career and willing to support her through it all. And to the guys she advised, they should never be afraid of powerful women. Men should be proud to have a powerful woman by his side because the makes him respected as a powerful man too. A Lagos driver, Shakiru Bello, was arrested for allegedly killing his wife Sherifat. Said he cut her into pieces to escape the wrath of her father Akeem Attanda and to avoid prosecution for her death. He added that after hiding her remains in different uncompleted buildings in Lagos, he fled to Ibadan Oyo state. Operations Officer ASP Talabi Segun who led a team from the Badia police division recovered Sherifat's head and neck in Morocco yaba, while other parts of her body were recovered in another uncompleted building on Moshalashi street, somolu. Punch reports that Sherifat and Shakiru who were married for over nine years have been separated since July 2016. The victim who lived in Ijora Badia area, demanded money last Monday for the upkeep of their three kids. Shakiru reportedly invited her to a location where they met. She never returned home.      Pastor Paul Adefarasin, senior pastor of House On the Rock church has paid tribute to the late gospel Singer Eric Arubayi who passed away on the 11th of February 2017. He took to his Facebook page and posted; "For a week now we've suffered the colossal loss of one of the greatest gifted son of the House On the Rock Eric Arubayi. Eric was a soul-stirring worshipper with an intense zeal for the Lord,  and though we sorrow we don't sorrow as those with no hope. We will certainly see Eric with Jesus again, we celebrate the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind. I'm convinced Eric is walking the streets of gold, singing with the angels worshipping our one true king. We are warmly consoled by the fact that he's in a much better place, with the other saints of the gospel where no pain can reach him. Let us remember his lovely wife Chinonso and their adorable son Jayden in our prayers, that the almighty God will grant them the grace to bear this

The Zamfara state coordinator of the NYSC, Hajiya Rahmatu Sanda says National Youths Service Corps won't send Corp members to "troubled areas" in the state. Sanda said that one of the main concerns of the NYSC in Gasau was to protect Corp members. In her words, "we don't send Corp members to those areas with security implications. We only send them to those areas where there's no security challenge."  According to NAN, she commended security agencies in the state for their support, especially in the areas of security coverage. She urged the Corp members to cooperate with the security agencies and also be security conscious, to also report any security situation to them for immediate action. She added that they should endeavour to respect the culture, values and religion of their respective host communities.

Guess who paid a surprise visit to the Big Brother naija house? Banky W gave the housemates a surprise visit, got them all excited to see him. They were still recovering from the excitement of having Falz in the house and then Banky shows up unexpected. Though some people pretended not to know him, well who else but our miss white "Gifty" lol. Lots of surprises awaits the housemates as they enjoy their stay in the house.

As the news of gospel singer and one time contestant of the West African idol, Eric Arubayi's demise spread, Nigeria celebrities send in their tributes in the various social media networks. The likes of MI Abaga, Ruggedman, Obiwon, Daniel Ademinokan, Timi Dakolo, Nikki Laoye, amongst others reached out on the various social media platforms to pay their tributes to their friend and colleague. Eric Arubayi died last night February 11th at the Delta state university teaching hospital after taking an expired malaria medicine which was supposed to relieve him of his ailment, according to reports. He is survived by his wife Chinonso Arubayi and their little son. A music minister in the House on the Rock church, well loved and respected by the church and his Pastor Paul Adefarasin. As reported by vanguard Nigeria, 20 years old Sunday drowned in a river at Lake view estate, amuwo-odofin Lagos. As he tried escaping being forcefully initiated into icelander confraternity by some youths. The cult group are known by the Lekki phase 1 & 2 residents to be notorious, as they freely brandish weapons and molest them at will. This notorious group as accused drag youths forcefully to the riverside to initiate them, if anyone refuse they'll be killed or given ultimatum to leave the estate. Apparently Sunday was also dragged to the waterside alongside his friend Alabi by their leader Tunde popularly known as T-money.  Tunde however held them at gunpoint, threatening to shoot at them if the refused initiation, Sunday jumped into the river while his friend Alabi managed to escape, and alerted the residents on what transpired. Sunday's body has been found by the police, who are also searching for the cultists in question for possible arrest.

         "My friend's niece arrived yesterday at JFK airport. She is a Nigerian with a valid 2 year visa. She was held by US Immigration  for over 12 hours and then deported with a 5 year ban. Her crime was that she flew Qatar airline. That was the red flag. The ignorant immigration officials wanted to know why she would fly from Nigeria to Qatar instead of through Europe. They wanted to know her contacts in Qatar. She said it was due to cheap ticket price. They searched her phones , looked at all her contacts and even called her job in Nigeria.          Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode signs into law the anti-kidnapping bill passed by the state house of assembly, in order to end kidnapping once and for all in the state. The law imposes penalty of life imprisonment for kidnapping with ransom, and death penalty for suspects who kill their kidnapped victims.          In his words; “Security is of utmost importance to our administration and we are confident that this law will serve as a deterrent to anybody who may desire to engage in this wicked act within the boundaries of Lagos. “Why we use this law to address the challenge and punish the criminals, we are also putting in place appropriate measures particularly in our schools and other vulnerable targets to prevent security breaches and it is important that we ensure that everything we do in respect of this anti-kidnapping law is in good faith and good spirit to eradicate the issue of kidnapping once and for all in the State.”            Ambode said the state of
