CNN journalist Richard Quest who anchors the "Quest means business" show on CNN is currently in Nigeria. He had a swell time with Nigerian celebrities who turned up to welcome him. He didn't hesitate to enjoy Nigerian and Ghanian jollof rice, bringing back the jollof wars  to ascertain which one tastes better lol... Celebrities like Nollywood Actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and presenter Illrymz amongst others had a great time with him. His show "Quest means business" was live from Nigeria today 27th April 2017.

Popular Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar who has been away from the country for sometime now went through a successful surgery removing her fibroid in India. Halima who is 31 years old took to her Instagram page to share a photo from the surgery and Wrote about the disease which almost claimed her life! Her words; "Myomectomy is an operation to remove fibroid tumours (myomas) from the uterus. This retains the Uterus And is an alternative treatment to hysterectomy. It is sometimes a more difficult operation than hysterectomy but preserves reproductive choice for the patient."

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of IPOB (Indegenous People Of Biafra) and director of Radio Biafra, who has been arrested alongside his boys by the Nigerian government has finally been granted bail by High Court. As part of his bail conditions, the court ordered Kanu never to grant any press interview pending the outcome of his trial - The IPOB leader is also ordered not to be in a gathering of more than 10 persons. Members of the IPOB movement has been celebrating this new development. According to his lawyer, he'll be due for release come may 19th 2017.
